What are the responsibilities and job description for the Tax Preparers position at LHH Recruitment Solutions?
We are currently seeking a Tax Preparer for an immediate opening in Grand Rapids. Qualified candidate will have at least one tax season experience and working knowledge of Drake, Ultra Tax or TaxSlayer. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare tax returns for individual clients
- Complete various tax forms
- Communicate with clients regarding tax forms and tax filings
- Assist with general bookkeeping tasks
- Assist with business tax returns when needed
Qualifications:
- Minimum of one tax season experience
- Two tax season experience highly preferred
- Professional tax software experience required
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting preferred
Employment Type: Full time, Contract
Compensation:
- $25 - $32 per hour
Work Hours: M – F, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
