Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage the daily operations of the accounting department.
- Oversee the preparation of financial statements and reports.
- Ensure compliance with accounting principles and regulations.
- Manage month-end and year-end close processes.
- Coordinate and complete annual audits.
- Maintain and reconcile the general ledger.
- Ensuring SOX compliance and develop and implement internal controls and procedures.
- Assist with budget preparation and financial planning.
- Train and mentor accounting staff.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field .
- MBA or CPA or CPA candidate is required
- 3 years of experience in Finance, Accounting or related field required
- Experience working for a publicly traded company is required
- Previous accounting experience in manufacturing or project based job costing experience is a plus
- Knowledge of US GAAP
- Proficiency in ERP Systems and Microsoft Office Suite required
