Our client, is a leading manufacturing organization based in Northern New Jersey. As a dynamic and growing company, they are dedicated to delivering high-quality products and services to their clients. They are seeking a motivated and experienced Accounting Operations Manager to join their team.
Position Overview: The Accounting Operations Manager is a newly created role designed to oversee Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and Billing operations. This position offers the opportunity to develop and implement efficient processes and provide leadership and guidance to a team of four. The role reports directly to the CFO and is based in the office 5 days a week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of AP, AR, and Billing departments.
- Provide leadership, training, and support to a team of 4 accounting professionals.
- Develop and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting principles, and regulations.
- Prepare and analyze financial reports related to AP, AR, and Billing.
- Collaborate with other departments to support business objectives.
- Assist the CFO with special projects and financial analysis as needed.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting operations, with a focus on AP, AR, or Billing.
- Proven leadership skills with experience managing a team.
- Strong understanding of systems and processes.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
Compensation:
- Base salary of $ 85,000-95,000 plus bonus eligibility.
