LHH is seeking an Accounts Receivable Lead for a contract position in Duncanville, Texas.
Position Overview: The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proven track record of managing accounts receivable processes efficiently. As the Accounts Receivable Lead, you will play a crucial role in ensuring timely and accurate collection of outstanding payments, maintaining customer relationships, and contributing to the overall financial health of the organization.
Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage the entire accounts receivable process, including invoicing, cash application, credit and collections, dispute resolution, and customer account reconciliations.
Develop and implement strategies to optimize cash flow and reduce aging receivables, ensuring the organization meets or exceeds established collection targets.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, customer service, and finance, to address customer inquiries, resolve disputes, and maintain positive customer relationships.
Lead a team of accounts receivable specialists, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback to ensure accurate and efficient execution of tasks.
Monitor and analyze accounts receivable aging reports, identifying delinquent accounts and implementing appropriate collection actions, including sending reminders, making collection calls, and initiating escalation procedures when necessary.
Conduct regular reviews of credit limits, terms, and payment histories to assess and adjust credit risk profiles for new and existing customers.
Prepare and present regular reports and updates on accounts receivable performance, including key metrics and trends, to senior management.
Continuously assess and improve accounts receivable processes, identifying opportunities for automation, system enhancements, and procedural refinements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Ensure compliance with relevant accounting principles, policies, and regulations, and participate in audits as required.
Stay current with industry best practices and changes in regulations related to accounts receivable and credit management.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field. Professional certifications (e.g., Certified Credit and Collection Professional) are a plus.
A minimum of 4 years of experience in accounts receivable, credit management, or related finance roles, with 1 year in a leadership or supervisory capacity.
Proficiency in financial software and accounting systems, with advanced Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.
Strong understanding of credit evaluation, collections strategies, and risk assessment.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with both internal teams and external customers.
Detail-oriented mindset with exceptional organizational and problem-solving abilities.
Proven leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
Results-driven with a focus on meeting targets and deadlines.
Knowledge of relevant accounting standards and regulations.
High level of integrity and professionalism.
Work Hours: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM, 40 hours per week

Pay Details: $19.00 to $23.00 PER HOUR
