What are the responsibilities and job description for the AP Specialist position at LHH?

LHH Recruitment Solutions is hiring for an Accounts Payable Specialist in Mansfield, TX. This opportunity is paying $48,000- $52,000.00, depending on experience.

Responsibilities:

Process weekly invoices of 200 AP invoices

Must have 3-way matching with PO's

Experience in payment processing, particularly wires in multiple currencies

Process Credit Application requests

Understanding of sales tax and exemptions as related to invoice processing

Year-end issuance of 1099’s

Year-end audit support

Attention to detail and high degree of accuracy

Ability to work independently as well as contributing to the team

Ability to manage multiple priorities

Ability to interact with all levels in an organization

Good verbal & written communication skills

Proven problem-solving abilities

Research and resolve invoice issues

Qualification:

3 years solid AP experience processing 200 invoices weekly

ERP system experience required

Must have 3-way matching with PO's

Experience in all Microsoft Office software (Intermediate Excel skills required)

Basic accounting knowledge

Must be open to light Overtime at Month End and Year End
