Responsibilities:
- Develop and articulate the long-term vision for assigned product categories, aligning with overall business objectives and growth KPIs.
- Identify key customer targets in retail and food service segments, leveraging insights to drive strategic initiatives and innovation pipeline development.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to shape and streamline the category portfolio, ensuring alignment with market demands and brand objectives.
- Led the development of new and revamped products within assigned categories, following global innovation processes.
- Drive insight generation, ideation, business case development, financial forecasting, pricing, and in-market execution strategy in partnership with cross-functional teams.
- Develop category playbooks, including product factbooks, communication kits, and packaging guidelines, to ensure consistency across all market segments.
- Deploy product stories and content effectively, enhancing customer engagement and brand visibility.
- Focus on all channels for marketing to define and achieve common goals for the categories, ensuring alignment and buy-in from sales channels.
- Represent the Americas Zone in the Global Marketing community, advocating for category needs and sharing best practices for local adaptation.
- Control A&P spending allocated to respective categories, optimizing cost efficiency while maximizing return on investment.
- Establish clear measurement schemes to evaluate the effectiveness of category investments and initiatives.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field; MBA preferred.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in category management, retail merchandising, or related roles.
- Minimum 2 years of managerial position
- Must be Bilingual in English and Chinese. Fluency in verbal and written Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) is required
- Project management experience
- Experience working in the retail or consumer goods industry preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and other analytical tools/software.
- Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset and a passion for driving business growth.
