The Category Manager will develop and maintain supplier relationships and ensure availability, best price and quality of materials. Additionally this position will lead the sourcing activities in a significant portion of the raw material spend
Responsibilities:
-Responsible for source-to-contract- for assigned category
-Develop strategy with stakeholders
-Manage supplier development and price negotiations
-Introduce and qualify alternative suppliers
-Harmonize supplier and raw material portfolio
Qualifications:
-Bachelor's Degree Required
-3 years' experience within an manufacturing environment
-Ability to negotiate
-Applicaple certificates a plus (CPM, Six Sigma etc.)
