Job Description:

LHH Recruitment Solutions is proactively seeking a dedicated and organized Clerical Assistant for an upcoming role with our client in Cincinnati, OH. This contract position is expected to start in the upcoming month, offering an excellent opportunity for individuals with strong administrative and clerical skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administrative Support:
    • Perform general office duties, including answering phones, managing emails, and greeting visitors.
    • Assist with scheduling appointments, meetings, and managing calendars.
    • Prepare and distribute correspondence, memos, and reports.
  • Documentation and Filing:
    • Organize and maintain physical and digital files and records.
    • Ensure documents are accurately filed and easily accessible.
    • Assist in the preparation and review of documents for accuracy and completeness.
  • Data Entry:
    • Enter and update data in various databases and systems.
    • Ensure accuracy and confidentiality of all data entered.
    • Generate and compile reports as required.
  • Office Management:
    • Monitor and order office supplies to ensure the office is well-stocked.
    • Coordinate maintenance and repair of office equipment.
    • Assist with the planning and execution of company events and meetings.
  • Customer Service:
    • Provide excellent customer service to clients, visitors, and staff.
    • Address inquiries and resolve issues in a professional and timely manner.
    • Support various departments as needed.
Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree preferred.
  • Previous experience in a clerical or administrative role.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.

Working Conditions:

  • Contract position with typical office hours.
  • Work is performed in a typical office environment within Cincinnati, OH.

Benefits:

  • Competitive hourly wage ($18.00 to $19.00 per hour)
  • Benefit offerings include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and 401K plan. Our program provides employees the flexibility to choose the type of coverage that meets their individual needs. Available paid leave may include Paid Sick Leave, where required by law; any other paid leave required by Federal, State, or local law; and Holiday pay upon meeting eligibility criteria.
