We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior CNC Maintenance Technician to join our team. This role is crucial for ensuring the efficient operation of CNC and other machines at our manufacturing plant.
The successful candidate will be responsible for preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of a variety of machines, including Swiss lathes, conventional lathes, and mills.
This role is fully on-site. Compensation is $70,000-$80,000.
Responsibilities :
- Complete preventative maintenance procedures on hydraulic, electronic, electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of our Preventative Maintenance (PM) program.
- Investigate equipment failures, diagnose root causes, implement repairs, and recommend future preventative measures.
- Perform machine and equipment installation, relocation, and removal / salvage.
- Carry out general maintenance duties throughout the facility.
- Identify and procure necessary equipment, parts, components, or tooling.
- Research, design, evaluate, install, and maintain records for equipment to meet operational requirements.
- Manage outside service personnel.
- Lead by example in safety and quality through adherence to the 6S program.
Critical Competencies :
- Strong mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to read pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical schematics.
- Proficient in computer and database skills.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
- Understanding of lean culture and systems.
- Knowledge of maintenance and technology for equipment selection, design, procurement, installation, application, and repair.
- Commitment to continuous learning and improvement.
- Willingness to work overtime when needed.
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 3 years of maintenance experience required.
- 2 years of CNC machining repair and troubleshooting experience required.
