What are the responsibilities and job description for the Contract Administrator position at LHH?
LHH has partnered with an aerospace client in Vista, CA in search for their next Contracts Specialist/Administrator. This is a BRAND NEW role! The ideal candidate will have experience working in aerospace and with government contracts, have strong negotiation skills, and is a team player. The CS will also support trade compliance and represent the company with integrity in interactions with customers and suppliers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the internal contract review process and recommend changes to contract terms.
- Analyze risks in contract terms and negotiate with external partners.
- Coordinate the approval process for contracts and manage documentation.
- Maintain organized records of contracts and ensure compliance with regulations.
- Act as a resource for contract-related questions and issues.
- Monitor and implement changes in regulations and company procedures as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field.
- 5 years of experience in aerospace/defense/government contracting.
- Strong knowledge of contractual clauses and U.S. federal acquisition regulations.
- Experience with export/import regulations.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills.

Salary: $90,000 - $115,000 base salary bonus
