What are the responsibilities and job description for the Contract Closing Assistant position at LHH?

Employment Type: Contract to Hire, with the potential for full-time conversion

Work Schedule: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Location: Roswell, GA, Fully On-site

Compensation: $19 - $20 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and manage closing procedure documentation.
  • Collaborate with construction management to set expected contract closing dates.
  • Act as a liaison among lenders, title companies, the sales team, and home buyers to ensure smooth and timely closings.
  • Organize and file essential documents for closing reviews.
  • Process and archive purchase agreements.
  • Review contracts and closing documents for accuracy.
  • Reconcile the Earnest Money Exception Report.
  • Schedule home buyer closing appointments with mortgage and title companies and attorney offices, and inform buyers accordingly.
  • Provide necessary documentation for closings, including surveys, soil treatments, contracts, and certificates of occupancy; facilitate key handovers.
  • Maintain professionalism and integrity in all interactions to enhance customer satisfaction and uphold the company’s reputation.
  • Be available for potential overtime.
  • Maintain consistent attendance and punctuality.

Additional Duties:

  • Distribute Stage Report updates to the construction management team.
  • Update completion stages and actual closing dates in the relevant software systems.
  • Handle bank deposits when necessary.
  • File all closing documents in the designated lot files.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Some relevant experience in Real Estate or Builder Experience.
  • Strong attention to detail and multitasking abilities.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Effective organizational skills and ability to follow through on tasks.
  • Capability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications and email communication.

Pay Details: $19.00 to $20.00 per hour
