LHH Recruitment Solutions is working with a global manufacturing company with a software offering who are looking to hire a Connectivity Specialist.
Our client plays a role of software specialist in machine tool manufacturing. The Connectivity Specialist will foster and spearhead IIoT business and collaborate with technical centers to propose software products.
Job Responsibilities
- Support customer cases quickly and appropriately in a timely manner.
- Understand the technology offerings and product line to develop applicable and effective approaches of supporting software solutions.
- Evaluate customer businesses requirements and translate them into appropriate technical solutions using software products.
- Provide product training to internal sales/service associates and customers.
- Advise on the creation of content for marketing materials such as sales manuals and product documents.
- Maintain customer relations to update subscriptions or contracts, inform on new releases, and obtain feedback.
- Ad-hoc duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in software engineering or similar or related experience.
- Prior experience in technical sales or sales support in software and/or machine tool industry is highly preferred.
- Good understanding of IIoT.
- 3 years of experience in manufacturing highly desired.
- Basic understanding of software infrastructure and IT.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to deliver engaging training and presentations.
- Excellent writing and editing skills.
- Strong work ethic, ability and passion to research and learn new technologies.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
