LHH is working with a global manufacturing company who is looking for an EHS Specialist to join their team! The ideal candidate will have 2 years of experience in EHS, some experience with OSHA and likes to work with people.

Responsibilities

  • Fully in charge of the health and safety (EH&S) programs which include hazard identification evaluation and control, accident / injury prevention, hazardous materials / waste management, emergency preparedness, fire / life safety, ergonomics, industrial hygiene, and environmental regulatory compliance.
  • Performs needs assessments in relation to safety
  • Presents training on new EHS programs
  • Work with site and department managers to develop compliance plans

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Natural Science, Engineering or related curriculum, or equivalent
  • 2 years EHS experience
  • OSHA experience is preferred
  • Knowledge of national, regional, and local regulations required
