- Job Title: Expense Specialist
- Employment Type: Contract
- Client Industry: Oil and Gas
- Location: Sugar Land, TX
- Duration: 2 months (potential for extension)
- Pay Rate: $22 - $25/hour
- Work Schedule: In-office (Monday - Friday), 8 AM - 5 PM
- Expense Reporting: Ensure accurate expense reporting by verifying receipts and supporting documentation for compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Discrepancy Resolution: Investigate and clean up discrepancies in expense reports dating back to 2023-24, ensuring that all expenses are accounted for and accurately recorded.
- Workday ERP Management: Navigate and utilize Workday ERP for expense management tasks, including inputting data, generating reports, and ensuring that all transactions are properly categorized.
- Vendor Communication: Communicate effectively with vendors and internal teams regarding expense inquiries, ensuring prompt resolution of any issues related to invoicing or payments.
- Invoice Management: Set up invoices for payment and manage credit card expenses, ensuring accuracy in entries and adherence to budgeting guidelines.
- Reporting and Analysis: Generate and analyze expense reports to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for cost savings, presenting findings to management as needed.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with finance and accounting teams to ensure all expense-related activities align with overall financial goals and audits.
- Documentation: Maintain organized records of expense reports, invoices, and correspondence, ensuring that all documentation is readily accessible for audits or reviews.
- Training Support: Assist in training new team members on expense reporting processes and the use of the Workday ERP system as needed.
- Experience:
- 2 years in expense management or related roles
- Proficiency in Workday ERP
- Skills:
- Strong communication skills
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities
- Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
- Background check and drug screening required for onboarding.
- Work in a professional office environment with a focus on teamwork and efficiency.
- No specific degree required; relevant experience is prioritized.
