LHH is working with a client who is looking for a Head of Finance. The position is fully onsite near the Miami airport. Salary is up to $105k. FULL BENEFITS!
Job Responsibilities:
- Financial Oversight: Develop and oversee financial policies and procedures, manage company budgets, forecasts, and financial planning. Ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Accounting Management: Supervise the accounting team to ensure the timely execution of all accounting tasks, including but not limited to payroll, receivables, payables, and tax preparations.
- Administrative Leadership: Oversee daily office operations, ensuring a smooth and efficient work environment. Manage office supplies, equipment, and handle procurement as necessary.
- Strategic Planning: Participate in strategic planning with the executive team, providing financial insights to inform business decisions and company direction.
- Team Management: Lead, motivate, and support the administrative and financial teams to enhance productivity and efficiency.
- Liaison: Act as the point of contact between the company and external parties such as banks, auditors, and third-party vendors.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Accounting.
- At least 7 years of experience in a managerial role with a strong focus on finance and accounting.
- Proficient in English/ Spanish with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to travel as needed for business purposes.
- Strong leadership qualities and experience in managing teams.
- Expertise in using financial software and Microsoft Office Suite(QuickBooks, Microsoft excel among others).
- Proven track record of improving financial processes and creating efficient administrative systems.
