Key Responsibilities
- Review civil improvement plans, geotechnical reports, landscape designs, and project specifications to deliver ready-to-build lots
- Oversee all phases of infrastructure installation, including lot preparation, model home landscaping, and community amenities
- Coordinate with local officials during the inspection and installation of civil infrastructure, landscaping, and amenities
- Maintain accurate project schedules, identify delays, and communicate key milestones to internal and external stakeholders
- Assist in the bid process, develop contract scopes, and manage subcontractor agreements
- Work directly with subcontractors, review field purchase orders, and ensure compliance with best management practices
- Track market pricing, develop budgets, and identify potential shortfalls
- Ensure constant communication with other departments regarding project status and design elements
- Conduct all business ethically to enhance customer satisfaction and company reputation
- Associate degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school
- Minimum of three years in civil construction, landscaping, irrigation systems, or hardscape installation and maintenance
- Proficiency in scheduling software, MS Office, and email. Ability to interpret instructions and apply common sense
- Ability to stand, walk, kneel, climb, and lift up to 50 pounds. Must have a vehicle and valid driver’s license
- Regular exposure to outdoor conditions, mechanical parts, and potential electrical hazards. Noise levels can be loud.
- Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to multitask and attention to detail
- Bilingual skills are a plus
