- Administrative Duties:
- Manage phone calls, emails, and other communications promptly and professionally.
- Maintain office supplies and equipment inventory.
- Handle administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and documentation.
- Office Coordination:
- Ensure the office environment is clean, organized, and well-maintained.
- Coordinate with dental staff to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Assist in the coordination of meetings, trainings, and events as needed.
- Compliance and Regulations:
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, including HIPAA and OSHA.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information and sensitive documents.
- Customer Service:
- Provide excellent customer service to patients, addressing inquiries and concerns professionally and efficiently.
- Handle patient feedback and escalate issues to management when necessary.
- Previous experience as an office administrator in a dental practice setting is required.
- Proficiency in dental software systems (e.g., Dentacom) preferred.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in administrative tasks.
- Knowledge of dental terminology, and procedures.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in office administration or related field is desirable.
