As a Patient Registration Specialist, you will play a crucial role in providing a positive and efficient experience for patients during their registration process. Your responsibilities will include greeting patients, assisting with data entry into the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system, maintaining patient records, verifying insurance information, scheduling appointments, and handling phone inquiries. The ideal candidate must possess excellent communication skills, multitasking abilities, and a commitment to patient confidentiality.
Responsibilities:

Greet and interact with patients in a friendly, professional, and courteous manner, ensuring a welcoming and comfortable environment.

Provide prompt and effective solutions to patient inquiries or concerns, offering troubleshooting assistance when required.

Accurately perform data entry tasks using the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system, ensuring the precision and confidentiality of patient information.

Maintain and update medical records with the utmost attention to detail, ensuring compliance with privacy regulations and maintaining patient confidentiality.

Conduct insurance verification procedures as necessary, following established guidelines and protocols.

Respond to phone calls promptly and professionally, providing helpful information and routing calls appropriately.

Register patients for appointments and update appointment schedules as directed by the supervisor or relevant staff.

Demonstrate the ability to multitask efficiently, smoothly transitioning between different responsibilities as needed.

Collaborate effectively with team members and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient registration processes.
Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent

Proven experience in a healthcare setting, ideally Patient Registration.

Familiarity with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems and data entry procedures.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact compassionately with patients from diverse backgrounds.

Strong attention to detail, ensuring accurate and error-free data entry and record-keeping.

Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with the utmost discretion.

Proficiency in multitasking, adapting to changing priorities, and effectively managing time in a fast-paced environment.

Basic knowledge of medical terminology and insurance verification processes is an advantage.

Pay Details: $18.00 to $20.00 PER HOUR
