New direct hire Payroll/AP Specialist position located in the Northern Suburbs. This position reports to the Controller and is responsible for all aspects of Accounts Payable and Payroll. Seeking a candidate with 2 years of a/p and payroll experience for this immediate position. This position offers competitive salary, growth and a comprehensive benefits plan.
Payroll
· Process weekly union payroll
· Audit timesheets
· Review accurate hours and payrate rules
· Maintain employee payroll information in the database
· Prepare all union, certified payroll and other required project reports
Accounts Payable
· Invoice coding and entry into accounting software
· Vendor statement reconciliations
· Scanning invoices
· Handle the weekly Check Runs
