Global leader in food industry in Houston and Peach County is seeking a Plant Controller with 5 years in cost accounting and 2 years in a supervisory capacity.
Duties include:
- Leading, coaching, engaging and developing team members.
- Preparing plant budgets and forecasts
- Developing and maintaining effective cost reporting and accounting mechanisms for production and inventory expenditures.
- Analyze production and inventory expenditures.
- Oversee fixed asset management.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and administer plant cycle counting program.
- Post transactions to the general ledger and assist in month end closing and preparatin of monthly finanical statements.
- Insures invoices and POs are properly coded
Assist cost accounting team.
Education required:
BA/BS degree in Accounting or Finance
Experience with SAP
Preferred industry experience: retail, food, grocery or consumer goods.
Salary : $115,000 - $125,000
