Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in related field (e.g. industrial design, toy design, fashion design) or equivalent work experience
- 1 years of related experience
- Solid knowledge in hardlines/softlines categories (raw materials, plastic, textiles, print, pattern, graphic composition, manufacturing)
- Strong product design skills (e.g. 3D product design, technical design, sketching, creative application and manipulation of art, final mechanical art, fabric and trim identification)
- Strong computer software skills (e.g. MS Office, Photoshop, Illustrator)
- Character-based design experience ideal
Key Responsibilities:
- Conceptualize, design, prototype, and present trend-right product lines with market-leading innovation and value.
- Execute product and licensed packaging approvals, ensuring high-quality standards in character execution, storytelling, color, material, form, and function.
- Develop product mock-ups, compile line sheets for reviews, and create retail pitch decks.
- Collaborate with internal and external partners to design and approve all products.
- Monitor competitors, product innovation, and market dynamics.
- Research initial seasonal trends by category.
- Multi-task and prioritize multiple design projects within deadlines.
- On-site role (Mon.-Thurs.)
- Interviews will consist of two rounds with various managers.
