What are the responsibilities and job description for the senior financial analyst position at LHH?
LHH is partnering with a Fortune 500, manufacturing organization that is based in Allen, TX. This position will be 4 days' in-office, 1 day work-from-home. We are searching for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Financial Analyst to join their dynamic team. This individual will possess a desire to pivot into Corporate FP&A and will work directly with upper-level management on a daily basis through a rotational program. This role will play a key role in driving strategic decision-making processes through insightful financial analysis and data-driven recommendations. We are targeting a base salary of $90,000-110,000, depending upon experience.
Responsibilities:
- Perform complex financial analysis to support strategic initiatives, including but not limited to budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and profitability analysis.
- Develop and maintain financial models and dashboards to provide insights into key performance metrics and trends.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency enhancement.
- Prepare comprehensive financial reports and presentations for senior management and key stakeholders.
- Assist in the development and evaluation of business cases for investment opportunities, acquisitions, and other strategic initiatives.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, market dynamics, and regulatory changes affecting the company's financial performance.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA or CFA designation is preferred.
- Minimum of 4 years' experience in Public Accounting (Audit)
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex data and draw actionable insights
