The Senior Field Engineering Manager oversees a team responsible for delivering new product introductions (NPIs) to key customers. Responsibilities:
- Serves as the primary liaison for the field engineering organization regarding New Product Introduction (NPI) functions related to customer projects. Builds and leads a team of engineers dedicated to delivering NPIs. Collaborates with cross-functional teams, including engineering, sales, design, and program management, to effectively execute NPI projects for customers.
- Identifies and consistently applies the most efficient and cost-effective business practices for process execution, continuously assessing their suitability and impact.
- Demonstrates independent judgment in planning and organizing work activities, overseeing performance, and providing regular status updates to senior management.
- Handles troubleshooting of complex problems and issues as they arise during NPI projects.
- Ensures employee adherence to Company policies, procedures, and standards.
Qualifications:
- 8 years of delivering NPIs to large customers in the computer hardware manufacturing space
- Bachelors/Masters in Electrical Engineering.
- Extensive customer facing experience.
- Strong experience working with Suppliers.
Compensation/Benefits: $150,000-$220,000 base salary
