LHH is partnering with a billion-dollar organization in the search for a Tax Analyst to join their team. The Tax Analyst will be responsible for federal, state, and local income tax and sales & use tax filings. This role involves preparing and reviewing tax returns, conducting tax research, assisting with income tax provision workpapers, and providing support during audits.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare federal, state, and local income tax returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable laws
- Prepare and review sales & use tax returns
- Monitor and stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations to ensure timely and accurate filing
- Conduct research on tax issues to support tax compliance and planning
- Prepare summaries and reports on tax research findings for internal stakeholders
- Assist in the preparation of income tax provision workpapers
- Support the tax audit process by gathering documentation, preparing responses to auditor inquiries, and assisting with audit requests
- Special projects and ad hoc responsibilities as assigned
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- CPA, preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of related tax experience
- Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills

Salary : $65,000 - $80,000
