Project Manager- Marketing

Overview: Lead role supporting business and marketing planning programs with a global tech leader

Location: Austin, Texas

Compensation: Based on 3-5 years of experience

Hours/Duration: Full-time, ongoing

Liaison Creative Marketing has an immediate opportunity for a Project Manager with experience with marketing and business projects. Our client is a leader in advancing AI capabilities in the gaming, PC, and data center industries. Providing project-level support for business and marketing planning programs, we seek candidates with 3-4 years of project management experience. Because this is a full-time, full-benefits, ongoing, hybrid role (three days onsite) based at our client's Southwest Austin campus, we can only consider candidates currently residing in the greater Austin area.

• PROJECT SUPPORT: Support the Marketing Business Planning Manager with business and marketing cycle planning programs in this critical role, acting in a highly collaborative and proactive fashion
• TIMELINE MANAGEMENT: Collaborate with business units, marketing, and sales to update business and marketing plans/timelines. Identify critical paths and issues impacting deliverables
• MILESTONE TRACKING: Document critical planning milestones, monitor progress, and identify roadblocks
• TASK MANAGEMENT: (Completion/Follow-Up/Escalation): Track and prioritize actions/deliverables and lead the follow-up activities on delays/roadblocks, assessing impact, creating mitigation strategies, and escalating issues to leadership

How to be a top candidate for this job:

• 3-5 years of experience in a Project Management role, having honed your skills in an incredibly fast-paced multi-project environment
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, marketing, business operations, or a related field
• PMP certification is a plus
• Marketing project management fundamentals as applied to large and complex organizations
• Exposure to the semiconductor industry and marketing is a plus
• Strategic agility and ability to exercise independent judgment
• An incredibly organized self-starter
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills

Skills:

• Project management tools (e.g., Workfront and Smartsheet)
• High proficiency in Office 365 (Excel, PowerPoint, Teams)
