The Jr. Finance Analyst is responsible for providing support and collaborating with both the accounting and customer service teams to ensure timely reporting, accurate financials, and identify opportunities for improved processes.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Assisting with 1099 generation/assistance at year end.
- Generating and sending paid in full reports to customer service team daily, allowing customer service team to process payoffs.
- Setup/verifying outgoing wires to ensure merchants receive funding in timely manner.
- Uploading bank reports daily and reconcile cash to the proper general ledger accounts.
- Applying incoming wires received to merchant accounts.
- Compiling daily bank report for distribution to senior level executives.
- Working closely with the development team to ensure accurate reporting withing systems.
- Uploading reports & ACH files to banking partner daily.
- Tracking and reversing payments to ensure accurate merchant balances.
- Providing assistance during year end audit.
Highly motivated individual with a "go-getter" mentality
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Excel, Word, as well as Adobe pdf, etc.
Experience in systems such as Salesforce, DOMO, Periscope, Jira is preferred.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
College degree in Accounting/Finance and 0-2 years' experience in Accounting/Finance role.
