What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dock Coordinator position at Liberty Coca-Cola?
Summary
Primary responsibilities include managing inbound and outbound dock scheduling and any scheduling changes for all managed Liberty freight. This includes communicating with carriers, transportation planners, facilities, and leadership.
Monday-Friday, 4pm - 12:30am.
Responsibilities:
- Processing accessorial requests.
- Revising dock capacity to align with business needs.
- Monitoring carrier activity in BluJay and ensuring carrier payment by Liberty.
- Be involved in any process changes regarding BluJay as well as expansions of the process.
- Interface with carriers via e-mail and phone calls and be involved with facility decisions regarding dock scheduling and dock capacity.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Associate's or Bachelor's Degree strongly preferred.
- SAP work experience preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office suite.
- Accurate data entry. - Strong organizational skills.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour
