Executive Director - forensic mental health

Due to anticipated organizational growth, Liberty Healthcare seeks qualified candidates for an available Executive Director role which will be responsible for establishing and leading a new forensic mental health program in Indiana.

This program will exclusively serve justice-involved adults who are unable to stand trial due to mental illness.

Core services will focus on competency restoration and involve forensic assessments, psychiatric treatment, and training/education. Services will be delivered to individuals in three county jails located in northern and central Indiana.

This program will be based on Liberty Healthcare’s award-winning model and rooted in best practices person-centered care and forensic mental health.

• Establishing an efficient and effective multi-site forensic mental health delivery system

• Hiring, training and supervising clinical and management staff

• Ensuring program clients receive person-centered care and high-quality mental health services

• Collaborating with an array of stakeholders within law enforcement agencies, county courts, criminal justice departments, and public health agencies
