A full-time “Senior Review Manager” position is now available with Liberty Healthcare’s independent assessment program in the District of Columbia. This is a key nursing leadership role.
Liberty Healthcare operates a program in the District of Columbia which serves people who are applying for long term care supports and services. The goal of this program is to enable people to receive the support services they need to live as independently as possible – while applying a valid, reliable and quality assessment process to prevent fraud, waste and abuse. Specific services include intake, applicant eligibility assessment, level of care determinations, recommending a range of service hours, and linking beneficiaries to home health providers.
As Liberty Healthcare’s Senior Review Manager, your responsibilities will include:
- Leading a team of field-based RNs / Nurse Assessors
- Managing workflows
- Managing a system which ensures effective, efficient, accurate, and timely assessments
- Ensuring productivity goals are met
- Assisting in the development of monthly and annual reports
- Completing service quality reviews (SQR) and routine SQR reports
- Coordinating paired assessments for the evaluation of Nurse Assessor inter-rater reliability
- Leading various quality assurance and quality improvement initiatives
- Conducting LTCSS assessments as needed to determine eligibility for HCB-LTC services
- Assisting in the preparation and review of hearings and appeals
- Providing back up and support for assessment team and team leads as needed
