A full-time 'Qualified Behavior Modification Professional' position is available with Liberty Healthcare. This position will be responsible for providing behavior analysis services to clients of two 4-bed community crisis homes in La Puente, CA.
Clients of these two homes have intellectual and developmental disabilities, may be dually-diagnosed with mental illness or substance abuse issues, may currently or historically face forensic complications, and will primarily be transitioning to community placement from a developmental center, psychiatric hospital or acute crisis facility.
Specific responsibilities of this position will include:
- Providing behavior modification intervention services for approximately 8 adult clients
- Conducting functional assessments of clients to identify factors that are maintaining dangerous, maladaptive and disruptive behaviors
- Designing, implementing and monitoring the efficacy of behavioral plans
- Training staff and other stakeholders
- Actively participating in multi-disciplinary treatment team meetings
- Rapidly responding to individual client needs
- Serving as a member of the program's management team
