We are seeking a skilled Drafter to join our team. As a Drafter, you will be responsible for creating technical drawings and plans for HVAC systems based on specifications provided by engineers and architects.
Key Responsibilities:
Utilize computer-aided design (CAD) software to create accurate and detailed drawings of HVAC systems, including ductwork, piping, and equipment layouts.
Interpret architectural and engineering drawings, specifications, and other project documents to develop HVAC drawings and plans.
Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and other team members to understand project requirements and objectives.
Review and revise drawings to ensure compliance with local building codes, industry standards, and client specifications.
Incorporate feedback and revisions from project stakeholders into drawings as necessary.
Maintain organized files and documentation of HVAC drawings and related materials.
Participate in design meetings and coordination efforts with other trades to ensure seamless integration of HVAC systems into building projects.
Requirements:
Associate degree or certificate in drafting, engineering technology, or related field.
Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software, such as AutoCAD or Revit MEP, with specific experience in HVAC design preferred.
Strong understanding of HVAC systems, equipment, and components.
Knowledge of HVAC design principles, codes, and regulations.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in drafting technical drawings.
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
2-3 years of prior experience in HVAC drafting or a related field

Pay: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
