Growing industry leader is seeking a Scala Engineer for an immediate C2H opening after a long-term contract.
Responsibilities:
Develop software in Scala, ensuring code quality and efficiency.
Utilize object-oriented and functional programming.
Manage collections and file operations.
Debug complex issues and enhance Spark frameworks.
Conduct unit testing (Scala Unit Test, Mockito, Junit).
Use build tools (SBT, Maven).
Handle file formats (Parquet, AVRO, CSV, JSON).
Apply Spark architecture and data transformation.
Use Azure services (Synapse, ADF, SQL DB).
Implement Spark streaming and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
Skills:
Scala, Spark, Azure services
Programming, debugging, testing
Agile methodologies, CI/CD
