Design Engineer
Design Engineer - Join Our Growing Team!Come be a part of a leading Structural Engineering Consulting firm! We are seeking a highly motivated Design Engineer to join our team in Atlanta. As a Design Engineer, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects in different industries, including manufacturing, distribution, data centers, and more. This is a full-time position with room for growth and development.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Project Manager/Engineer of Record to develop project designs and calculations
- Conduct analysis of existing structures
- Create drawings and specifications for construction
- Attend project meetings with internal and external team members
- Review project submittals and shop drawings
- Visit project sites for construction observation
- Utilize structural design software
- Communicate with clients, architects, and contractors
- Conduct calculations and ensure compliance with industry standards
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering
- 0-2 years of related experience
- Proficiency in Revit and/or AutoCAD
- EIT certification preferred
- Strong communication skills
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
