JOB SUMMARY
This position is for a Registered Ultrasound Technologist, whose responsibility is to provide direct patient care related to Imaging services, in accordance with accreditation standards, federal, state, and local regulations, organizational and departmental policies and procedures and professional standards. Provides safe and efficient imaging to neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patient populations. Responsible for the supervision of professional or skilled personnel. The position reports to the Supervisor/Director of Imaging Services.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
1. Minimum level of Education: Completion of an accredited Ultrasound program preferred.
2. Formal Training: Must be able to operate all ultrasound machines proficiently within three months of employment.
3. Licensure, Certifications & Registration: Must be registered. Current BLS Certification required.
4. Work Experience: Ultrasound clinical competency.
