Backed by Liberty Resources Inc. and part of a large social services circle, originally POST was a speech-language practice in Syracuse NY, and has grown to provide a range of services throughout all of New York State. We employ over 400 professionals in a variety of settings and offer a collaborative team approach to provide evaluation, direct therapy, and family education through child-directed play. Position Summary:
The Early Intervention Service Coordinator serves children aged 0-3 in need of services to address developmental delays or concerns. The Service Coordinator provides support and consultation to referred families in a home based/teletherapy setting. They coordinate all necessary services, referrals, assessments, and timelines while working collaboratively with the family and service providers to support children enrolled in the EI Program.
Qualifications:
A minimum of one of the following educational or service coordination experience credentials:

Qualifications:
A minimum of one of the following educational or service coordination experience credentials:
- Two years’ experience in service coordination activities as delineated in regulation (voluntary or part-time experience which can be verified will be accepted on a pro rata basis); or,
- One year of service coordination experience and an additional year of experience in a service setting with infants and toddlers with developmental delays or disabilities; or,
- One year of service coordination experience and an Associate’s degree in a health or human service field; or
- A bachelor’s degree in a health or human service field.
- Experience working with and collaborating with families, community organizations, and other agencies
- Good written and oral communication skills
- Attention to detail and the ability to manage time independently
- People, team and detail oriented
- Valid Driver’s License
- Work from home capabilities, access to internet required
- Experience working with children in the age range of 0 – 3, including children with developmental delays
- Demonstrated knowledge of child development 0-3 years old
- Hybrid (combination in office, community, and remote) work arrangements
