Liberty Tire has an immediate opening for a Grade Manager at its Apopka, FL facility. The position is responsible for management and coordination of grading operations including the inspection of rough and final grade on all tires and ensuring that the grading operation process is flowing smoothly to meet the Company’s profitability.

Key Job Responsibilities
- Schedules and deadlines are adhered to.
- Maintain a ready inventory of empty trailers for daily collection.
- Oversee rough and final grade of tires.
- Communicate & implement change as directed.
- Manage inventory accuracy through monitoring of daily warehouse activities and company guidelines.
- Provide leadership by establishing clear expectations and demonstrating high standards of work practices and safety conscious behavior.
- Establish, maintain and promote high standards of customer service.
- Communicate between departments and divisions as it pertains to tire grading.
- Health & Safety compliance in accordance with company policy, also utilizing OSHA procedures and practices.
- Supervision of all staff under your direct or indirect control.
- Train and monitor staff in safe work practices, including new employee orientation.
- Continuously monitor the performance and activities of the grading operation.
- Other duties as assigned.
Educational and job experience
Construction or mechanical background, tire experience, and sales experience, dependable transportation, self- motivated, enthusiastic, able to perform physical labor, experience leading teams, outgoing, personable, ability to interact with management, customers as well as line workers, bi-lingual (Spanish/English), experience with conveyor systems.
Abilities
- Lift up to and including fifty (50) pounds on a routine basis.
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with all members of the operations.
- Work independently with general and/or detailed instructions
- Perform heavy manual tasks under varying weather conditions.
- Make independent judgments which have moderate impact on the company.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
