Essential Functions and Responsibilities
1. Responsible to accomplish operational project objectives through assisting Director(s) of LU Serve.
2. Provide essential logistical administrative support and assist appropriate LU Serve staff to implement all major strategic projects and achieve organizational goals with respect to LU Serve events and programming.
3. Execute strategic purchases for the LU Serve office related to equipment, resources, materials, promotion, and other essential logistics.
4. Responsible for assisting the LU Serve department in purchases and reconciliations.
5. Responsible for using programs and methods of payment such as P-Card, Infor, Banner, and Assist for the operations of the LU Serve strategic plan.
6. Responsible for tracking department revenue and expenditures.
7. Regularly provides budget reports to department leadership.
8. Create and maintain a process for real-time budget updates for LU Serve.
9. Regularly assists OSD departments in budget related matters.
10. Serves effectively as a liaison between LU Serve and the finance and budgeting offices.
11. Work in coordination with Directors to develop and foster relationships between LU Serve and related LU departments.
12. Plan, coordinate, and execute all LU Serve projects and opportunities as directed.
13. Work effectively as a team member of LU Serve; embracing and fostering the mission and events of OSD and Liberty University.
Qualifications, Credentials, and Competencies
A four-year college degree in Business, 2 years' professional office experience, and experience in ministry finances required. A master's degree and 2 or more years' experience in project management preferred.
Effective communication both verbally and in writing. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to intuitively reason, analyze information and events, and apply judgment in order to solve problems of both a routine and complex nature. Excellent computer and organizational skills. Regularly lift 25 or fewer pounds. Proof of a valid Virginia driver’s license, an acceptable DMV record, and liability insurance is required.
