The Summer Temp is a 40 hour per week position; active between the spring and fall semesters. This position aids in the administration and operation of the Office of Spiritual Development by fulfilling professional administrative tasks to enhance and fulfill the department outcomes.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Assists students, faculty, staff, and CSER supervisors regarding questions on CSER policy and procedures. This is done via phone, email, online chat, and walk-ins.
Assists with the planning and preparation of LU Serve events. Assists Student Development with the planning and preparation of Serve Now and Study Abroad trainings.
Assists LU Serve’s administrative assistant when hosting guests.
Helps to keep the office organized and essential supplies stocked.
Assists LU Serve’s administrative assistant with lobby coverage; phone and walk-ins.
Supports the Executive Director and Directors with strategic research on various LU Serve initiatives.
Works effectively as a team member, embracing & fostering LU’s mission.
QUALIFICATIONS AND CREDENTIALS
Education and Experience
- Computer knowledge, including MS Office
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
