With Life Fitness On Demand, we offer an innovative and growing library of digital classes available on all our connected fitness equipment. These classes redefine the workout experience and allow exercisers to learn new and effective ways to use our products.
As a Director, On Demand Content, you will:
Own the strategy, development and evolution of Life Fitness On Demand (LFOD)
Lead the development and execution of content production roadmap, including multiple training modalities, languages, feature enhancements, among other.
Manage a global team of instructors, constantly finding ways to help them improve their own on-camera persona to ensure they cater to the broad spectrum of LFOD users
Execute on instructor recruiting strategy, including outreach tactics, audition requirements, and selection criteria
Collaborate with performance coaches in the continued evolution of LFOD’s programming guidelines and parameters
Collaborate with the business development team in the evaluation of potential content partners to join our digital ecosystem
Collaborate with product and engineering teams to ensure LFOD is best represented across all our portfolio and provide a seamless workout experience to exercisers
Partner with the marketing team in the branding, positioning, and messaging of LFOD across all distribution channels and markets
Present to the senior executive team on LFOD adoption and usage metrics, KPIs tracking, competitive benchmarking, roadmap evaluation, and project prioritization
Guide, coach and develop direct report(s)
Requirements/Qualifications:
Education
Bachelor’s degree
MBA is a plus
Basic Qualifications:
5 years of product development/management experience, preferably in the fitness or wellness industry
5 years of leadership experience managing teams
Robust understanding of the digital/connected fitness industry and its players
Experience developing and understanding fitness programming
Experience with content production and deployment
Experience working with global multi-cultural teams
Experience presenting to senior level executives and customers
Preferred Qualifications:
At least 5 years of fitness industry experience
Experience creating digital fitness content or working with video production companies
Fitness certifications (e.g., ACE, NASM, etc.)
Travel
Travel will occasionally be required to meet production requirements
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Proven success in executing complex projects with cross-functional teams in both support and leadership functions
Strong empathy and interpersonal skills to manage multi-cultural personalities
Effective oral (speaking, listening, interpretation) and written communication skills.
Strong analytical skills; a desire to dive into the numbers and seek to understand.
Robust knowledge of basic computer business applications such as MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Demonstrated history of delivering results in cross-functional environments.
Comfortable with ambiguity and ability to be flexible in a rapidly changing environment.
