Position Summary
The LifeCafe Manager in Training fulfills duties of a LifeCafe Manager in order to train and prepare for the Cafe Manager role in the near future. They may assist the LifeCafe Manager in managing the overall operations and financial budgetary responsibilities of the business. They provide leadership that ensures the highest standards in the field, including employee experience, customer experience, and financial results.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Maintains Profit and Loss statements, budgets, and cost controls in regards to food, beverage and labor goals
- Manages all front of the house and back of the house operations to include inventory and payroll
- Manages the leadership and performance excellence of the team by training, modeling, developing, motivating and assessing all team members to ensure continuous growth
- Responds to questions, comments, and concerns in a professional and efficient manner
- Ensures safety, cleanliness, and security awareness standards are emphasized, practiced, and inspected
Position Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1 to 2 years of related experience
- ServSafe Certification or equivalent certification
- CPR/AED certification required within the first 30 days of hire
- Experience with fast casual restaurant or full service experience
- Experience driving operations and financial performance
Preferred Requirements
College Degree in Culinary, Business or 2 years of management/leadership experience
Pay
This is an hourly position with wages starting at $25.00 and pays up to $29.25, based on experience and qualifications.Life Time is a place for everyone.
