What is Lifebanc?

Lifebanc, is the federally designated organ, eye and tissue recovery organization that serves 20 counties in Northeast Ohio. Put simply, we facilitate and coordinate organ, eye and tissue donation and transplantation in our community and educate the public on the importance of our mission. Position Description:

The Network Administrator will ensure smooth and secure operation of Lifebanc’s digital infrastructure while optimizing network performance, implementing robust security measures, and proactively addressing technical challenges to maximize uninterrupted connectivity. Maintain a high level of user satisfaction by promptly resolving issues, implementing strategic upgrades, and staying abreast of emerging technologies. The Network Administrator will provide backup support to the Help Desk Technician and the Information Systems Manager.

Maintains network infrastructure.

• Maintains LAN/WAN infrastructure to include ethernet wiring, data circuits, routers, and switches. 
• Provides support for cellular and VOIP phone systems, including 3CX Phone System.
• Maintains hot site equipment for disaster recovery.

Maintains network and desktop software applications.

• Installs and replaces software and equipment when necessary. 
• Responds to and records all interactions, events, problems, and their resolutions in the IT ticketing system.
• Reviews all tickets in IT ticketing system. 
• Supports Windows based computers, laptops, VDI’s, and Servers.
• Supports Apple iOS devices. 
• Coordinates timely repair of computer equipment, printers, copiers, and fax machines.

Manages desktop data security.

• Manages and monitors Datto, SCCM and WSUS servers to verify that all servers and computers are reporting and receiving appropriate patches and updates.
• Manages and monitors malware prevention and remediation.
• Manages and monitors notebook encryption status.

Assists the Information Systems Manager.

• Provides backup coverage when the Information Systems Manager is not available.
• Participates in a 24/7/365 on-call rotation.

Qualifications:

• Associate degree in computer technology is preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of PC network support or a combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge.
• Knowledge of and experience with Microsoft Windows operating systems, preferably MS certified.
• Knowledge of Active Directory, PowerShell scripting, Azure, and SSO technologies.
• Knowledge of and experience with Windows and Apple operating systems.
• Knowledge of and experience with Office 365.
• Knowledge of and experience with cell phone technologies. 
• Knowledge of Disk Imaging Solutions.
• Knowledge of and experience with MS-SQL databases.
• Skill in handling multiple priorities and tasks at once.
