MUST HAVE MEDICAL FOLLOW UP CLAIMS EXPERIENCE
JOB SUMMARY:
- Under the direction of the Billing and Collection Manager, the Recovery Specialist I is responsible for the timely submission of technical and professional medical claims to third party payers. Under minimal supervision, follows up on all third party insurance and self-pay accounts.
- Follow up on MEDICAL CLAIMS that have no activity and follow procedures on claims for government payers-Medicare, Medicaid, Medicare Advantage and MCO payers
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Entry level knowledge; basic employment skills; High School diploma: GED equivalent or High School certificate
- 1-3 years of AR experience with MEDICAL CLAIMS
- MUST HAVE MEDICAL FOLLOW UP CLAIMS EXPERIENCE
