JOB SUMMARY
The Patient Access Manager (PAM) assists the Director to oversee and coordinate the activities of Access staff and to create an environment of excellent customer service and identify opportunities to improve overall departmental operations. This individual will aid in setting goals, priorities and performance standards for Patient Access (PA) specifically the areas of Insurance Verification, Prior Authorization, Pre-Registration, Financial Counseling and Clearance, and Registration (excluding Emergency Room), OB Coordination and Bed Control. Collaboration with other operational areas is essential to ensure accurate and timely input of patient demographics, insurance information, charges, bed assignments, notifications and other duties as assigned specific to the Revenue Cycle. This position supports a cohesive and efficient Revenue Cycle and Business Office to achieve a high percentage of clean claims and patient co-pays. Achievement of top 5 level ranking in the State for AR days.

REQUIREMENTS
- Preferred Bachelor's Degree Healthcare
- 4-7 years Minimum of 5 years of working in a revenue cycle, health insurance environment. Patient Access experience strongly preferred. Required
