Summary
Is responsible for the production of optimal quality radiographs in an efficient manner while demonstrating concern for patients of all ages. Utilizes the knowledge of the principles of growth and development appropriate with the patient's age, to ensure that care provided meets the unique physical and psychological needs of the patient. Understands the functionality of multiple types of Imaging equipment including DR, CR, fluoroscopy, C-arms and portable radiographic units.
REQUIREMENTS
- Preferred Associate's Degree
- Required High School Diploma Graduate of AMA-JCH approved program in Radiological Technology.
- Less than 2 years Required
- ARRT - Am Registered Rad Tech
- CPR - AHA Healthcare Provider
- RT - Radiology Technologist
SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS
Must be flexible with work assignments and be able to handle the ever changing demands within an Imaging department. Must have the ability to use problem solving skills. Must be accurate in details and be willing to learn new aspects.
