We are seeking to hire a Senior Data Visualization Specialist. This is a full-time, on-site position. Occasional work-from-home is available to the right candidate.
Responsibilities:
- Produce insights from a dataset using narratives and visualizations.
- Delivers rapid prototypes and proof-of-concept reporting capabilities.
- Communicate meaningful insights from large data sets.
- Design, develop, and maintain sophisticated interactive dashboards and reports.
- Present data in an intuitive easy to understand format.
- Fostering a team environment in which designers feel engaged and motivated.
- Mentor junior staff and lead team initiatives.
- Collaborating with PM, and Dev to deliver high-quality products.
Qualifications:
- Experience working with Big Data solutions.
- Knowledge of analytical approaches, methods, and modeling
- Fluency using statistics and visualizations to answer questions about data sets.
- Experience working with multivariate and/or “large” datasets using conventional statistical techniques.
- Knowledge of programming languages like Python, R or SQL
- Experience with reporting and creating metrics.
- Understand data mining and predictive modeling techniques.
Required:
- Proven track record of career success in Healthcare Data Visualization
- Healthcare Data experience
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science or equivalent technical discipline
Preferred:
- 10 years of related work experience
- MS in Data Science or equivalent technical discipline
