Software Manager

LifeLens Technologies, Inc. is a medical device developer located in beautiful Bucks County, PA. We are pioneering innovative, next-generation treatment devices for personal health monitoring.  

We are hiring a Software Manager. The ideal candidate has a collaborative mindset and a passion for developing new technology.  In this role, you will be working with a team of software developers in collaboration with other stakeholders.  You will support the software engineering lifecycle following the program Software Development Plan (SDP) to include requirements analysis, object-oriented analysis and design, code & unit test, integration, and support to formal test/delivery. You are detail-oriented and goal-driven. You are a capable problem solver with excellent organizational skills and superior verbal and written communication skills. This is a full-time, on-site position. Occasional work-from-home is available for the right candidate. 

Job Description:

• Review Requirements and Test Cases
• Work directly with Software Requirements and SQA groups
• Assist with the development from the ground up of an in-house solution for patient monitoring and patient management applications.
• Manage project timelines, resources, and detailed documentation
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure that product development is completed and product documentation is completed
• Work will focus on software development of client-side and server-side applications, data management, security implementation, and API development for integration with EHR platforms.

Qualifications:

• 5 years of Software Manager role
• Experience with Java, JavaScript, Python or equivalent
• Experience with Azure/AWS or equivalent with experience, preferably in the following application areas: healthcare services, IoT hubs, financial services, scheduling applications, etc.
• Understanding of HITRUST, GDPR, and/or HIPAA security compliance.
• Experience with relational or NoSQL database development
• Familiarity with React/Redux or equivalent interface frameworks.
• Familiarity with Docker container runtime engine.
• Some degree of Linux experience (bash scripting, system services, GPIO)
• Experience with on-device application development and integration with back-end services.
• Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 10 years’ experience, or a Master's degree with a minimum of 7 years preferred, in computer engineering, computer science, electrical engineering, or related degree.
