We also provide a host of other services including the Joint Replacement Institute, a full spectrum of inpatient and outpatient Surgical Services, a Family Birthing Center, Endoscopy, Cardiac Catheterization Lab, Cardio Pulmonary Services, Therapy Services, and Oncology services through H.R. Hoover MD Cancer Center.

Implements the leadership responsibilities for routine, critical and or emergency situations and manages all issues timely and efficiently

Makes decisions by applying comprehensive clinical knowledge regarding acute care standards to ensure optimum utilization of rooms, resources, scheduling, patient flow and staffing management
Remains adept at understanding and implementing the ONA Collective Bargaining agreement
Develops and revises policies and procedures based on clinical best practices and current industry standards
Serves as an expert, and clinical resource, to the departments and promotes education and development of staff including effective orientation and onboarding of new employees
Identifies and implements performance improvement projects based on the needs of the department and in direct support of the hospital’s mission and strategic plan
Participates in hospital-wide committees, and has the ability to prepare and clearly present data and reports to committee members and the board as needed
Manages staff including appropriate performance evaluations, accurate timekeeping, payroll entries, discipline, growth and supports retention and recruitment processes
