As a System Engineer (Data Protection), you will play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing our IT infrastructure, ensuring the protection, replication, retention and availability of our data.

What You’ll Do
As a System Engineer (Data Protection), you will play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing our IT infrastructure, ensuring the protection, replication, retention and availability of our data.
Responsibilities
- Build, design, and troubleshoot data protection systems/tools, seeking efficiencies through automation.
- Provide level 3 support for issue resolution from ServiceNow, triaging and documenting as needed.
- Design, implement, and maintain data protection strategies using Commvault backup software at an enterprise level.
- Offer advanced technical support for data protection issues related to Commvault, Veeam, Zerto, and Commvault Metallic.
- Deploy and manage cloud-based backup solutions using Commvault Metallic, ensuring data integrity and accessibility.
- Administer Zerto's replication and backup software to enhance data protection infrastructure.
- Collaborate with teams to integrate Commvault solutions within Google Cloud environments.
- Monitor and optimize backup and replication processes to meet SLAs and compliance requirements.
- Education: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent relevant experience.
- Experience: Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
- Certifications/Licensures: Relevant certifications (e.g. Commvault Certified Professional) are preferred but not required
