What are the responsibilities and job description for the HHA Home Health Aide position at LifeSpring Home Care?
We are seeking a Certified Home Health Aide to become a part of our Hospice team! You will provide routine healthcare to patients at the patient's home or in a care facility.
Responsibilities:
- Provide routine individualized care to the elderly, convalescents, or persons with disabilities
- Monitor and report changes in patient health status
- Provide personal care, such as bathing and dressing patients
- Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs)
- Light housekeeping
- Companionship
- Simple meal prep
Qualifications:
- Experience in hospice and home health preferred
- Positive and patient demeanor
- Ability to build rapport with patients
- Ability to handle physical workload
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Certifications:
- Long term care aide certification in Oklahoma required
- Home health aide certification in Oklahoma required
