ROLE OVERVIEW
This position provides full administrative support for Integrated Behavioral Health. On a daily basis, the Coordinator will be tasked as a point of contact between multiple parties including patients, physicians, pharmacy staff, and others.Responsibilities
- Manage intakes/referrals for evaluation services from various referral sources
- Insurance verification
- Sending and processing new patient paperwork through patient portal
- Scheduling
- Prepare and disperse weekly schedules to site locations
- Interfacing with doctors and patients
- Sending letters/reports to families and PCP’s
- Other general office/administrative support for clinicians as needed
Skills & Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent; medical administrative services certification preferred
- 2 year of experience in medical administrative services
- Strong interpersonal and phone skills.
- Strong written and verbal communications skills.
- Strong attention to detail skills.
- Professionalism and team-oriented approach a must.
- Balance of nurturing and resolute styles in working with families.
- Great ‘multitasking’ abilities.
- Proven record of job or educational stability.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of the team
- Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to be employed in the United States
